Sharon Gregson is committed to publicly funded, non-profit, affordable, accessible and accountable services for children, women, families and communities.
Along with her colleagues, she has won awards for Leadership, including the Spirit of Leadership award from the BC Government and Services Employees Union. She also received an award from Mike Farnworth, the Minister of Social Development and Economic Security in 2001 for bringing Child Care to legislation in BC. Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre gave her, and the Coalition of Child Care Advocates of BC, the High Flyer award for leadership.
Sharon was a School Trustee serving two terms as a member of the Vancouver School Board.
Sharon is also the Past President of the Vancouver/Hastings New Democratic Party Constituency Association.
